Elma Tershana is graduated at Social Science Faculty in Tirana, with high score, she has finalized BA and Master in Social Work (MSW); From January 2011 she is in process of PhD study near “Institute for European Study”, Tirana National University. Since 2001, she is human rights expert. Since her beginning of carrier, she is committed and full time engaged in NGO sector, and actually as Executive Director of “Observatory for children Rights”. Also she is lecturing nearby (private) Universities.

She permanently continues writing and realizing different articles and research studies. Her (main) publication work include: University subject “Knowing human rights”, “Family Sociology”; co-author of the research book “Poverty and Children in Albania (2009)”; author of the annual report “Children’s Rights in Albania 2009”, published by UNICEF 2011; in regional level she is co-author in the publication of the “Balkan Human Rights Yearbook – 2006”.
